Athens instead of Athina
Salonica instead of Thessaloniki
Nicosia instead of Lefkosia
Famagusta instead of Ammochostos
Corfu instead of Kerkyra
Crete instead of Kriti
The list is endless. Why didn't they just call the capital 'Athina' instead ...
